NY and Central Park
// 30 May 2012 // Uncategorized
Hi guys! Before we’re going to Myrtle Beach we decided to visit the Central Park. I’ll try to tell You everything step by step
Firstly we’ve packed all the luggage(I found out that for that moment I had 2 bags instead of 1). We asked pedestrians how to get to the Central Park and were told that we gotta use bus first and subway then. It was good thing that one metro-card may be used in the bus too.
When we arrived to the subway we asked one pedestrian whether we were going to the right way or not. This man was even glad that we were russians, he told us about russian books he had read and more interesting is that some sentences he tried to speak in russian. He told us that all the russian words he knew was taken “from knigi”.
He was going to the Central Park with us and then went the other way. That was the first time when I saw squirrel not in the cell close to me. By the way some spots in the park were familiar. Firstly because I read the book of the last year work&travel participant. Secondly because I played GTA IV.
There was a zoo in the park, I think we’d better visit it. We reached the small pound and no more than 1/3 of it ’cause It’s enormously huge! 🙂
We’ve shoot some photos, but unfortunately almost all the photos with me Karina made bad.
Me and Karina ate the biggest ever cheeseburger with the biggest ever cutlet and french fries at the 5 Napkin Burger. It was really huge that You’d better see the photos of it.
Another fun thing happened there: when the waitress looked at my empty glass she asked me If I wanted more sprite, I thought It would take extra money and refused, but she said that It’s for free 🙂
After that we went back to the motel and then to the airport where we were waiting for the airplane for about 10 hours because our plane was delayed due to storm or smth like that.
Fortunately we flew at midnight to Myrtle Beach and then visited wal-mart for some food.
That’s the second time I post about our adventures only the day after…If this happens again I would post this way every time 🙂
Russian translation is available.
